As long as the fish are still alive they are feeding. I usually go on vacation August and fish when I travel. Iβve been to Florida and Alabama when itβs 90+ and always done well. Only problem I had a couple years ago was finding a guide willing to go in heat. Here in NJ fish can be difficult to locate in heat because I believe they move a lot more from shallow to deep but I fish all summer. Hope that helps.
Back in the olden days when I lived in a duplex in Trenton, NJ, with my 4 older brothers, I would go jetty fishing π£ every evening in order to cool off. One day when the temperature was above 100 degrees and my room was higher than 90 degrees, the temperature at the end of the Barnegat Inlet north jetty was only 59 degrees. My glasses π got fogged up. When there is a strong south wind in Central Jersey there is an upwelling effect where the cold bottom water in the ocean π rises to the surface. I saw skates and other bottom fish swimming on the surface of the ocean many times after an upwelling. The water is usually very cold and dirty but the ocean quickly becomes warm again after the wind direction changes. I was fortunate that my brothers would turn on my air conditioner before I returned home every night.
