Lol, yes there is. Google suburban trout spoons. They often work great. The trick is super slow retrieve so it wobbles side to side. If it spins, slow it down.

Ha, don’t know about the beatle mimic, but I’ve had a lot of success fishing these spoons in rivers and lakes. They r custom made lures.
