If Bucky Buckner doesn't get on here soon. Send him a PM. He will put you on the fish up there.

Welcome Thomas, sheepshead, black drum, trout on North end rocks. South end, red fish, flounder, trout. no rocks on South. The cause way is a hot spot for all of the above. live shrimp, finger mullet, mudminnows, or your favorite artificial. Whatever you do, do not leave any part of your tires on the road when parking or you WILL BE BOOTED OR TOWED. This info should get you some fish . GOOD LUCK

Thanks...I'm staying in a house on the creek and bringing a small boat, so parking is not an issue, but thanks for the heads up

Thanks for advice. I like to fish artificial as an ultralight fresh water trout fisherman. What catches these seatrout. I fished the inlet at Edisto some years ago. Caught a sheepshead. I'd prefer a trout or two when down next week to Pawleys. I'll just have bank access.
Does a Rapala Crawdad do anything?

Morning Zack,

sorry bout that, live shrimp under a slip cork is the best for trout, but my go to is the mirror lure with rattles, redhead, or the blue green and silver ones work best for me. go to boat landing falling tide when you can walk the bank head North fishing as you go, if you catch a trout, fish that spot hard as they are schooling fish. moving North you will eventually get to jetties provided you don't get a limit before get there. 15 in. or larger, 10 fish per person. there are a lot of nice fish to be had in those waters. flounder, redfish, black drum, sheepshead, and of course bluefish, if you like that kind of fish. GOOD LUCK, TAKE LOTS OF PICS. (OH YEA RUBBER BOOTS)

Bucky, Is there only one boat landing on Pawleys? New territory to me. Fishing surf or inlet. Thanks for any details. Zack

Unless they have added another one, it is on the North side of (causeway). which is a good place also. fish the inlet side. If the tide is to high to fish bank, fish the North bridge (causeway), or Southend

Looks like I will be staying near the Litchfield Spit. Will I get similar results walking it south to Midway Inlet?
Thanks for hanging in there with me.

have not fished that Inlet as I can't get in there. there is landlocked reds, and flounder in the pond on your left as you are going in
