My son & grandson went fishing in CO. I went in VT. I caught a bunch of brookies. They caught only a couple of fish. Who had the better day?

You did! Over 50 years ago, I hiked with a friend northwest of Weston, Vt., to find some beaver ponds along a creek. We caught and released a bunch of native brookies about the size of the one pictured.
