Decided to wade a few hours last night at my favorite lake. Went to a submerged road bed that usually gets fish moving in as sun goes down, typically can get 4-5 decent fish quick. Spent an hour and not even a bite. Stopped at a small cove choked w vegetation. First cat w 7β Gambler fat ace blue/ black caught this one. (Terrible picπ€·ββοΈ) Really fun fight bringing it in about 30 yards through the pads and grass and up to my ankles in mud trying to get to shore. Close to 4 lb. When I flipped it on the bank the hook was out. Ended up catching 2 more decent ones and headed out. A lot of stress in my life lately and itβs amazing what a quick adventure in nature can do for the soul!ππ»π£

JD, the best thing is a little water therapy to help with that ππ£π£

It's good therapy, isn't it? After a tough day at work, sometimes I don't bother going home to change but go straight to the lake to wet a line a couple hours with the travel kit I always keep in the trunk of my car.
All true, donβt always want to mess w boat so good to just head out a little and get away. Thanks for comments.ππ»
JD, actually, I really like the picture. The darkened background with the sunset; really unique. If it's OK, I'll copy it and keep in my fishing portfolio. Of course giving you the credit.
Yours to enjoy! No credit needed but thanks.
Wanted to post a pic because I really enjoy seeing what others catch during those stretches I canβt get out myself.
Great sunset, thanks for sharing
