Neighbor Tom & I went up to Kaweah yesterday morning and caught quite a few small LMB's ,😁🤙nothing of size but a good catching day , Ozzie the wonder dog loves licking the fish! We had to leave about 11:15am as it was already 98° , yesterdays high was 106° 👎😰

Jar, sounds/looks like you guys had fun! Thanks for posting your pix. Cloudless sky in the background so yeah I bet the sun was brutal! So what's providing the shadow in the last 4 pix?

Some of the pics are from early morning, we fish various coves , shadows are from the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Kaweah is nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Nevadas,👍

Good job buddy. You’re not that far away. Come up and fish the Petaluma with us. Steve can bring his boat and I can bring mine. Put u with Saw, the master, and George and I in my boat. I have a home in Santa Rosa which is only a half hour from either the Petaluma or the Napa river. You can stay there with George and I. Make it a two day trip.!! Just bring one lite weight trolling rod no gear needed. Cocktails at six!

Nice 👍, I don’t like hot weather fishing 🎣 in the sun when the mosquitoes 🦟 are biting it NJ. Weather report said that a year’s worth of rain is heading your way. All of your reservoirs should be flooded soon.

I have one good carping flood spot in NJ. Carp and catfish bite in flood waters. Be safe.

Stay safe, Jar. I read the last time the state experienced a storm (Hilary) of this magnitude was 84 years ago. It was a Cat 4 over Cabo yesterday.

Yeah it's pretty much aimed at So.Cal ,and the Sierras here , we live in the San Joaquin Valley🙏

Really , Corcoran doesn't need more flooding ,it's been estimated that Tulare Lake will take at least 2 years to dry up & thats only if they dont get rain ,which isn't gonna happen,, our creeks ,rivers irrigation canals ,and holdingponds all have water and are still running at a good clip ! The middle of August ! That's amazing,, I just heard they've cancelled major league games in LA, Anaheim & S.D. on Sunday ,they will be playing doubleheaders tomorrow ,, Wow! Have a good weekend my Friend 👍🤙
