My friend has property/cabins in Shingletown and he says they haven't stocked it since they drained it over 2 years ago. I checked the DFW planting website and confirmed it. I would call the supermarket in town and check--- someone should know the deal on it. You could also call the Northern DFW office and check!! Good luck--- you can always go to Baum Lake which is stocked heavily!!

I’d also suggest Baum as it’s heavily stocked right now along with Hat Creek and Burney Creek. My favorite spot is at Cassel on Hat Creek, have had massive success working from the Post Office south around 2 river bends. I’ve added planting schedule and a few Hat/Baum pics along with a couple of locations. Enjoy!!!

Salmon egg with small split shot, Power bait (spring green, salmon egg), Panther Martin (gold, silver, yellow/red, yellow black)…I’ve not fly fished but have seen great luck with that method too. Burney Sporting Goods has current info and incredible selection of gear, rods, reels etc. Good luck and tight lines!
