My buddy and I launched out of Bodega Bay and went in search of Lingcod. I also made some new Copper jigs that I wanted to test out.

We caught 2 blue lingcod, 2 brown lingcod and one limit of rockfish in 2 hours fishing.

Copper jigs worked well.

It was sunny and calm water.

I’ve poured jigs using the chrome legs from office furniture. Also from copper and weights using plastic pipe. Also try putting a hook on a chrome herring dodger. I’ve caught halibut on one.

Awesome jigs!! And nice catching. I had a bunch of shower arms that were chrome, had a small 45 and attached a hoochi and hook on the bottom. They worked pretty well.

Great catching K Krew ! I bought 10 of the copper jigs ( different sizes ) in Oregon , they do work , I like the idea of putting Hoochies on instead of strips of Squid , I gotta try that ! Those Aqua Blue Lings are beautiful , thanks for sharing 👍🤙

Those lures are really cool!😎 Are they supposed to resemble squid or something, which I guess lingcod like to eat? Never targeted lingcod but they're high on my bucket list, esp the blue ones.🎣🎣🎣

Just curious, what is the idea behind the blue tape?

I put glow in the dark tape and eye balls on a few of the rigs, the blue tape was holding it on until I used it for fishing

Very Nice K Krew, I like the hoochi idea. I made some similar last month. Going to try them out after Labor Day.
