Went carping in 84 degree Carnegie Lake this evening on a hot, humid, cloudy day with a light south wind. Mosquitoes 🦟 were biting. I killed 6. Threw out a can of corn 🌽 for chum, then caught and released 6 bluegills, 3 white perch, 2 yellow perch and a musk turtle. Landed 90 turtles 🐢 this year. Saw a great blue heron catch and swallow 2 yellow perch and a white perch. 6 other fishermen were nearby. Osprey flew overhead with gizzard shad in their talons. Caught > 2,400 fish 🐟 this year.
