Welcome to the fishingstage Lee, you're enjoy it here there's lots of good people here that will help with your questions and you may offer help also, I live in central Florida and also love LMB fishing. I hope you get the boat running right with minable costπI buy and sell small boats (mostly aluminum) and when I get one ready to sale I fish out of it till I know it's ready to go, I'v sold some while out fishing with them. I live in a small town and so far most of my sales are from recommendations. What's your favorite Bait for bass up there? Oh yeah we do like pictures of your catch, thanks Chuck π£π£π£
Well I have fished mostly lakes around middle Ga, like West point, Ufaula,Sinclaira and Oconee lak es, but my favorite is West Point. I fish a lot of different plastic baits, crank baits, and spinner baits. Haven't got to do any fishing for last 6 year's. My wife had a lot of health problems, and had to take care of her. Unfortunately she passed away in July 2021, and still trying to deal with that, and hope i can start fishing again. I need to do something other than sitting around, and missing her being here with me. Thanks for the greetings, hope I can learn how to be a better fisherman, and person in general. Great fishing Chuck.

Welcome to the stage Lee, I hope you get to spend some time fishing π£. Force yourself if you have to, I lost my wife Dec 24 2021 after 4 years of dealing with cancer and fishing helps me deal. She loved to fish also so I am with her on the water. I sat around for months then decided she wouldn't want that for me. Wasn't easy and still ain't but......well I know you understand. She is on my mind every day and always will be.
Hi CamT, same here. My wife also loved to fish. We were together 25 years, and she was my whole life. We had a small city pond where we lived, and a lot of times while i was working she would go there fishing by herself. So like you any time i fish, i feel she's right there with me. Good π£ fishing CamT.

Welcome aboard Lee. Sorry for your loss. My wife is my fishing partner. She can't get enough of it.
Hey Gordon, thanks, and nice to meet you. Good to hear that your wife fishes with you. Never take that for granted, just enjoy the time together. Never know when one of you won't be there. Not trying to say that it will, but just saying! Hope y'all have a long life fishing together. Tight lines, and tighter relationship.

Sorry for your loss Lee. Wife and I celebrated our 59th Anniversary in June and with dating we've been together 65 years. Can't even imagine life without her. You and Cam T need the time on the water. That's your Therapy. Schedule it like it was a PT appointment. Usually weekly sessions are required but feel free to go anytime. Good Luck guys. One Day At A Time! (Sweet Jesus)

Hi Flytier, West Point Lake is on the Georgia, Alabama line. On Chattahoochee River system. We have a number of reservoirs, on this river, through Ga, and Alabama. Goes all way to the Gulf Coast. Nice meeting you Flytier.
