Went to Edinboro Lake around 8:30 am put the yac in and wham slipped on the concrete so I started out half wet. Got up to where the pads start and got my first fish ( little black frog again ),went to weigh it and the scale didn't work . It is probably high 4#s . Most likely wouldn't need it the rest of my day. WRONG!!!! Of all days for a scale to not work this wasn't the time, the functions all worked and it has new batteries but when you go to weigh it doesn't register ๐Ÿคฌ๐Ÿคฌ๐Ÿฅด. So my next fish was about 3+#er just doing estimates at this point in time. Next could have gone well over 4+#. Got a few dinks in between but still kept getting some larger fish as I worked around the lake. It was sitting in a washing machine with all the boat traffic and pretty good wind but I wasn't gonna cut this kind of a day short till it quit. Off the lake at 5 pm had to go around the perimeter because of boat traffic thank goodness it's not a big lake. The last hour or so was dead. ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ™„ -------- Damn scale anyway๐Ÿคฌ๐Ÿคฌ ๐Ÿธ๐Ÿธ๐Ÿธ๐Ÿธ๐Ÿธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฒ

Looks like a great day Andy, scale or not. My cheap one bugs out every once and a while, I just disconnect one battery for a minute, and reconnect it and it works again. Thanks for the pictures buddy.

Found the problem and fixed it . Took the case apart and at the bottom there is an offset little bar that holds the pendulum part of the scale that comes out of the case. It is held to the main bar with a small screw that had backed out and was hitting the case not allowing the pendulum to move down. ๐Ÿ˜œ . What a day for this to get to this point. Fixed now just tightened it up maybe it worked loose ridding in the yac after a couple years?? Will add some locktite to eliminate this again. All in all not really a bad problem to have if you know what I mean? Awesome fish today๐Ÿค—๐Ÿธ๐Ÿธ๐Ÿธ๐Ÿธ๐Ÿธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฒ

That's great that it was something mechanical, and easy to correct. Could have happened on a slower day, but at least it's fixed. Congrats again on a great day.

Nice fish Andy and good you did not get hurt slipping on the concrete. Definity a good day on the water even with a few setbacks. Thanks for sharing.

You got size, you got numbers, and nobody is going to argue your ability to guess weights. Great day brother.
