I like rage toads. But the only opinion on the stage I would be looking for if I asked this question is Andy (frogman). Guy slays them all in frogs!!!

Tight lines

Strike King black baby sexy or Sanford Baits boom boom mudbug for me. I doctor them a bit though before throwing---boiling water to soften the body and bend back the hooks a tad for better hookup ratio.

Nutz - about 5 min. in already boiling water. No need to submerge; just occasionally stir around. Remove and cool. It really softens the plastic significantly so it's easier for the bass to bite down and get the hook points in! https://youtu.be/n2pVEr7EZm4

We had a blast!!! I’m going to bring planner boards next year. That way we can troll 6-8 rods easy. Next year I want to try to find some cats there as well.

You're welcome Nutz! As for the finer points of actually fishing the frog, esp. when throwing on a salad bar, I humbly defer to the aforementioned Frogman referenced in earlier posts on this thread, esp. considering his breadth of experience and success in the the genre.🐸🐸🐸🎣🎣🎣
