Recently moved to Sebastian, FL and snook season just opened. Never fished them and looking for advice on what line, leader and lure to use in local waters. Of course, I mean after Dorian passes.

Up in Cocoa, I'm sure you mean IF Dorian ever passes
Croakers, spots, large live shrimp. I use 30 pound braid. Small shot sinker with mono leader. I live about 30 miles away from there
Match the hatch! Croakers now and mullet soon! Jumbo shrimp after dark! Big baits is the key for big lipped snook!
30# braid 40#flouro leader big noisy topwater plugs
A few years ago, folks were catching African Pompano chasing mullet up into the pass too! Tried to fish it in an anchored boat and got huge jigs tossed all around us! Crazy place when the big fish run!
Getting good responses. Thanks guys, keep 'em comin'
