I came across two verses in the book of Proverbs that I think would be beneficial as we enter the 2024 e******n season with all it’s debates over issues that are important to this country. The first is Proverbs 18:2 “. A fool takes no pleasure in understanding,
but only in expressing his opinion.”
The advice here is if you don’t know what you are talking about don’t talk about it until you do or you will just exposing yourself as a fool.

The second verse is Proverbs 18:17 “The one who states his case first seems right,
until the other comes and examines him.”
The advice here is test everything to see if it is true and right. T***h will be validated by examination and testing and falsehoods will be exposed. T***h welcomes honest examination while falsehoods hide from it. An opinion or position that can not stand up to honest examination and testing is not worth holding.
Looking forward to some honest discussions in the attic during this e******n cycle as we seek out what is true and what is right.

I'm pretty sure when the political circus brings out the elephants and donkeys everything will be carefully examined. unfortunately most of the clowns(politicians) are fixing their makeup to look presentable.

I hope you are right, what I have observed very little is really honestly examined usually it is mostly partisan propaganda. There are so many issues like the immigration, a******n, school choice, energy policies, c*****e c****e, crime and punishment and etc. that instead of looking at all the facts objectively and then coming up with solutions that address the problems we just hear sound bite partisan political attack adds with little regard for the t***h, that do nothing but cause division. I think if people would just talk and examine these issues that there are solutions that the vast majority would agree with. Most likely no one would come away with everything they like but could come away with solutions they could live with and would work on solving some of these problems. We have to get away from this mentality of who is right instead of what is right.

We won't know what politicians are about until the government allows news stations to broadcast real news and not what they say to put out there. Until then, good luck.

but we can look into issues that we are concerned about and looking the t***h around them. example we can look into the biological facts about male and female man and woman and see the t***h is men have a"y" c********e in every Cell in their body and it is impossible for them to change that by drugs or surgery and then see which politicians are willing to give an accurate definition of what a man and woman is and if they are unwilling or unable then you know they are either not being t***hfully or are ignorant and not worthy of public office.

I agree with you wholeheartedly. The problems begin when politicians follow party memos rather than serving their constituents. They pander to the weak, the uneducated or less educated, and the ones too lazy or unable to research the t***h. They constantly repeat, across the board, the same messages and people begin to supplant reality with their messages. Your example of the Y c********e is a prime example. Many would rather believe a talking point than believe the fact.
When I think about it, there are very few problems among the myriad we are facing that were not created by politicians.

I v**ed for years. I don't anymore. I can't bring myself to connect my name at the polls with any of these clowns.

You don’t get to choose. Parties pick the ones who can raise the most money whether they are good for our country or not.

You should also have added “The fool hath said in his heart there is no God” since we are going to discuss woke policies in the coming months.

know how you feel but still better to v**e for who has the best policies better to have a clown that atleast is going to do the least harm than a clown that does the greatest harm. that is why v****g in the primary is actually just as important as the general. if you don't v**e you can't complain
