Good morning. Welcome aboard. We need to know what kind/ type of help you might need. We start with greeting’s and an introduction of yourself and location. That helps a lot.

GM. I'm Keio. Thanks for the welcome. I'm in Hampton VA. I don't know anything about saltwater fishing. I've only fished in freshwater, mostly private ponds.
I'm looking for help with how to land fish on a regular.

Hi Keio, I'm from Hampton. Been here a long time. I've fished off and on through the years(more-so in my younger years). I've been out on freinds' boats but mostly just fished from area piers. You can't go wrong using a drop rig (usually double drop rig) and an appropriate weight to keep your bait down. Bloodworms are expensive but will catch a multitude of fish. Squid is also a good standard bait. Look into what species you are targeting and ask a more specific question. As far as physically landing fish, some area piers are equipped with drop nets to help get your fish from the water to your cooler you'll just have to call them and see..or purchase one yourself. Not sure if all my ramblings have helped but I hope so.
