Dakoda Loc: Cle Elum, WA

We took the grandkids out fishing in a gorgeous mountain lake, in the Cascades. Couldn't even get a strike. Next day we took the kids to a U-Fish where they each had to work to catch two fish each. They were thrilled to finally catch a fish. Kids are 7 and 8 years old. The boy being 8, who is very much a boy, wouldn't even hold the fish for a picture. His sister, who says she is going to be a doctor, was fascinated and helped me clean the fish. Kids and their parents spent the week visiting. I think we managed to create some lasting memories.
