Hello Stagers, I mentioned a few weeks ago we were going to Bandon to engage in a Little Rock cod fishing. We embarked @ 630 am with 15 eager souls on board. The ocean was flat. On the first drop almost everyone had 3 or 4 rockfish landed. The limit in Oregon is only 5 rocks per person; Captain Wayne did not want to send us home too early so he pulled the hook and we went to another location. By about 10 am everyone had a limit of rocks and we continued to fish for ling cod with most of us catching 1 or 2 lings, the limit here. Next we pulled the crab pots and those of us who signed up for Dungeness crabs got a limit apiece of 12 crabs…this is a killer deal! I just want to say that Captain Wayne and his right hand man Robert will always go the extra mile to make sure you go home happy with your catch. Check them out in the internet: Charter Boat Prowler, Bandon, OR. Fish fry…..😎🦀🐟
50 footer, very comfortable.
Dungeness
Lings
More lings.
The red one is a copper rock fish.
Another limit
Good job, lots of groceries.

Sounds like blast. Glad you did good. My favorite combination of targets. Was it spendy? Were the Lings good size?

Hello Jeremy….not speedy at all…$100 for rock fishing…$50 for a limit of crabs. The lings we caught were smaller size, but still legal and tasty😎🦀🐟.
Djsowards great day. I have added them to my list of activities for that area. Thanks

Hey, thanks Bapa…hope you get a trip on the Prowler.😎🦀
Nice catch and thanks for the recommendation of the captain.
We in the Rogue Valley are supposed to be getting upwards of 108°(!) by next weekend....I think that I need to go visit a friend in Bandon, take a charter trip, and escape the brutal heat !
One of the greatest attributes of this area of Oregon. Don't care for the weather you have ? Drive 2 hrs....it WILL be totally different. And that can be said all year-long.

Great Day Djsowards, have used them a number of times throughout the years. Used to go out with Wayne’s Dad I believe. The old Captain was a great guy. Although the Bandon Bar is one of the hardest ones to get out of sometimes. Have had a couple 3 trips cancelled because the Bar was So Bad the “Very Smart” Captain said Not going Out, Too Dangerous. I Do Appreciate a Smart Captain. When we did make it out it was AlwaYs a Good Time. I’ve even had the Captain do a couple Whale watching side trips when we spotted some while out fishing. The “Prowler” has always been a great Charter choice as far as I’m concerned. When I started going out with them years ago, I think the fishing was $65 & a Crab Pot was $20, so at a $100, & $50 with the price of fuel and gear that still sounds like a Deal. Congratulations on your great day catching dinner!😁
