Not sure about putting this in Main?

We took a boat ride on the Pine River Flowage yesterday and saw this eagle snatch dinner from the river, deliver it to its mate, then perch on a limb about 20yds away to dry off. Very efficient process. We took a few pics then left them alone to enjoy their day as well. That nest has been holding a nesting pair for as long as I can remember.

If I’m not mistaken and memory serves, eagles mate for life too.

I’ve rarely seen them fail. It is astounding to watch.
