That's really touching, Grizz. Thanks for posting. My dad unfortunately was too proud to have me or any of my siblings assist him like that in his final days.

I may be the same way one day..
I saw a husband an wife at Sam's club.
In front of me at checkout.
Wife was doing everything n he was pretty much unaware of everything.
Frail n bent over.
She moved up n he was still standing there. She told him to move up he was holding things up
I smiled n told her it was fine.
I felt so bad for both of them. Probably worked most of his life to end up like that.
Now his wife has it all on her.

Told Bug the other day the older I get the more I realize I don't have childhood memories of my old man.
I read about the bond others have here.
