Going to need be in Wilmington NC area on Thursday. Any ideas on where to throw a cast net for shrimp

Not so sure now because the shrimp has already came through but you may fine them further out.
Clams at Wrightsville beach, shrimp and finfish above Rich's inlet to new river . Don't go south or west of Carolina beach. . Nothing to be desired down there

Try Virginia Creek they were thick this morning. They run in the creek to try to get away from the fish.
