Hi, new to the forum. Wondering if anyone can offer advice to a beginner carp fisherman from Central NJ.
Currently, waiting on my rods/reels/rigs imported from the UK and hoping to get a head start. Feeling a bit overwhelmed.
Any thoughts/advise is appreciated.

I caught more than 5,000 carp to 42.5 lbs in Central Jersey since 1999. I just throw out a can of corn 🌽 for chum then use canned, whole kernel corn for bait. If you fish 🎣 in my spots you will catch nothing because I killed all of the carp. Try Fireman’s Eddy and post pics of your catch.
