Well we had a fun day at New at New Melones

Went to New Melones yesterday with Ryno and Matt and Ranger632 it was the 1st time that David and I have met Ryan and Matt two great guys 👦 👍, they will always be welcome on my boat.
Fishing was slow but no Skunk !!
But it was great fishing wit the 4 of us.
Little crazy 🤪 with for of on my boat casting but it worked out fine they are great fisher men and great cashers but we had lot's of laughs 😃 😀 😄 and that's what it is all about I'd do it again.
And I'm sure we will and hope so, when cools down I take my boat up to where they live and fish with them !!
Sorry I did take take any pictures but you seen the pictures that Ryn a Daid has sent.
I was kind of busy managing the boat to keep the boat parallel to the shore line in good casting distance.

I'm sure we will if we lived closer I know we would fish all the time.
Taking Ryan duck hunting this year with me.l have a feel you and I would have a great time fishing also.

For got to tell you had a good one on ten feet from the boat he came 1/2 way out of the water and threw the hook 🪝 with his mouth open you could put you fist in his mouth!! I won't tell you what I said !!!
So Matt said well call it a 10 pounder!!
Great guy we laughed 😅 🤣 and I cried 😢 😭

That's the same way I feel about fishing with the guys at our M&G, if we only lived closer together we could do it more often. Good luck if the Ducks come in! Someday I'll get out to California, and I'll definitely look you up.

I will water temp is 84° ,fish are down deep and the bite was a tuff and being 97° was hot !!.
I also love this lake it's been a
Weird bite this year until the lakes get settled and quite rising the fishing will be back to normal.
Where do you live at ?

We have a small 6 acre ranch that my wifee raises miniture horses.
I run a small engine repair shop, lawn tractors, chain saws etc. . . . . Super busy ! ! ! !
We get the Owe Nada out any chance I get -either Melones, Pardee or with usually the delta -- BIG stripers ! ! ! !

It was a great day with all of them!!
Lots of laughs 😃 wish we would have caught more fish but no Skunk.
We will fish again !!
And plan on taking Ryan duck hunting if the birds come down this year in good numbers.
