These were fun to catch. Spastic fish, hahaha. Jeffrey energy center upper lake a few days ago on rattle traps. The temp was only 104⁰ Ahh, Kansas in July.

I had to google"wipers". I'll be darn. Of course we catch striped bass hsre in MD but I haven't heard of them stocking that hybrid. Real nice catch.....What was water temp?

Great pic. With 104 temp your water temp had to be in the '80s at least.

Nice catch! Wipers and Stripers usually hit and fight hard. Good eating size and tasty when you cut out the mud line.

How is that lake doing? Use to live there like 8 years ago in Kansas

No fees to get in. You still have to check in/out, they keep your DL, then let you through the gate. Both lakes are beautiful. They allow up to 5 boats on the top lake. The lower lake is seldom crowded

I k ow the lake is bad when it's windy. I remember couple guys lost years ago. Not sure if ever found both or not

Oh wow, :( I've not heard that but wind and water can make a dangerous situation for sure. I like a little chop, makes the walleye bite.
