Heading out to FJS lake tomorrow morning . Looking to target bass. Any tips where to start? Have never been on lake would like to get an idea of what kind of bottom and veg is at lake. Thanks
Here are the depth maps with types of added structures, water depth, launches, bathrooms, etc. We mostly catfish and crappie fish. The edges have lots of downfall, rock formations and different weeds. I missed a 2 1/2 # LM at Lower Greens Run at the weeds/rocks. Spooked about a 5#er from a tree trying to get my lure loose. That was along Howard side North side of the bridge. I was using a lipless. People also fish the breaks in the old rt 220 road that starts up from the Howard dock area over to the entry to Hunter Run Cove.
Check out the fishbrain app, too.
Hubby and I will be out crappie fishing in the morning, maybe some catfishing. Good luck! Hoped this helps.

LOOKS LIKE I CAN ONLY PUT UP ONE PIC!
π Look up Foster Joseph Sayers Depth Mapπ
Thatβs where we had the Meet and Great! I know most the guys had those maps printed out with each section individually. I fished crappie and if you want info on those Iβve got plenty!!
All the other guys accept a few fished bass. Hopefully Fred, E Pa Al, Slim, Andy B and the others will chime in. They all did pretty well.

Welcome to the Stage Stratos 1. I was out there at the end of June. We did good along the north shore of Hunters Run, around the blowdowns also, and in the cut to the main lake. The north shore of Upper Greens Run also has lots of wood, as does Lower Greens Run. Good luck and post some pictures of your catch.
Thanks! Looks like an awesome lake!
Thanks. I have heard this a great bass fishery.
Thanks! Will def post pics if we hook up with some!
