My guess is Barry Manilow--he's known for doing jingles for KFC, McDonalds, etc.; Songs I recall include Mandy; I Write the Songs; Copacabana.

I'd say Barry Manilow. He is noted for writing jingles. I think that he also wrote lyrics for the American Bandstand theme song (Bandstand Boogie). I really don't have a favorite for him. I'll say At the Copa.
