Not the old clark island quarry..it's a great swimming hole now..5 minute walk for me....down south just north of Portland there are some active granite quarry ...maybe some closer ..haven't experienced much of surrounding areas yet ..Matt

Used to go to Old Orchard Beach for two weeks in July-August every year when a kid. Took the Lincoln II sunset cruises to Cabbage Island for all the lobster you could eat, steamers, corn on cob. It was great!! Cousin was stationed in Portland until a few years ago and have another cousin that lives near there also. Beautiful place!

If you come up this way I would love to take you fishing in Portsmouth NH, talk music (I play strings) and reminisce about when I lived and fished on Governors Island in NY harbor.

Would love to. No idea when tho. Going to W. Virginia for my birthday Aug 11-13 to watch the Perseid meteor shower from Skyline Drive. My nephew was Navy so we get pass overnight.
