Searching for pike in the Merrimack River at Lowell Massachusetts. I took this trail along the river . A few places I was able to cast a lure . No takers . I will keep trying until I get a decent size . Everyone have a great day.

Looks like a nice spot…try a Johnson’s Silver Minnow with a trailer…and a steel leader near the wood cover.

A fishing buddy told me behind the mill is a good spot. he uses an orange Yozuri.

Nice way to spend time sleuthing the waters! I like those big spinner choices that are on your rods at the moment. I think if a pike sees something flashy...it's a sure bet he'll strike! That looks like good habitat! Good luck on your next outing!

Nice, I fished the Merrimack where it runs into the ocean on the south inlet jetty at night many years ago and caught nothing but I had a striper blitz the next day on the north shore of the Parker River where it enters the ocean and landed > 30 bull bass.
