I am a newby and have not fished in almost 50 years although I have bought a license most of the time.
What is a good way to fish for trout from a boat in Paulina Lake? Are worms and eggs legal? Can you keep the fish you catch and are they healthy to eat?

Yes you can use live bait at Paulina and East Lakes. Worms work great and they should have at the marina.

Welcome w pioneer, and good luck on your newly acquired interest in fishing again. I used to fish Paulina years ago and did well as far as I was concerned. There is a Shelf straight out in front of the store/ lodge about 150 yards or so. I fished with salmon eggs just off the bottom and never kept a fish under 14” . We also hooked a couple of those monster 20# plus Trout that are in there. Also did well trolling a green FlatFish behind some flashers. Some days you could not keep them off the flatfish. All in all a great place to spend some time on the water. Good luck and send the stage some pics when you Hook Up!
