Used to fish the Mohawk out of Schoharie creek 10 years prior to your catch. River had just got cleaned up from being a cesspool. We would clobber smallmouth, some walleye, and many rock bass. You could have 150 fish days. Havent been back since the early 80s, but it was fantastic then.
I'm 65 years old I grow up in Schenectady I remember the turds floating by walking over the bridge the turds were float down the river not anymore but they're on the sides down there in Schenectady it's not even a safe place to fish
I don't remember it, but now I'm really craving some Genesee Cream Ales!
Used to drink Genesee Cream Ale on draught from '76 to mid '84! IMO one of the few worth drinking American made brews in those days.

I went to Syracuse U and I remember Genny Cream Ales. I brought some down to North Carolina in '75 when I visited an alumni friend.
