Had a great time on the boat with my son's and and his crew of buddies who are Firemen 🚒.
The big Yellowtail were not up here yet I caught 3 small Yellowtail only 20were caught on the boat , largest was 12lbs that was caught .
Bluefin and Yellfin were not active and still really haven't come up yet from Mexico.
Caught alot of Calicos (Bass), Bonita and White fish.
My largest Bass 6 1/2 lb.
Great crew running the boat, those of you who live in Southern California try the Boat called Furry out of Dana Point Landing.
Going again next year, we are going to Charter a trip with this boat.
Oh ya they make a great Breakfast Burrito 🌯 😋 on the boat 🚢.

Nice report of your trip with the guys! Sounds like a fun time was had by all...despite no "massive" fish available just yet! You still caught an impressive number of fish...and the smaller ones are the best to eat anyways!

It was a great trip Fred and watching the Green Horns get seasick once we left the jetty!!!

There's always a few that can't hang with the big dogs Andy. I feel sorry for them. I've never been seasick in my life.

One of the guys thought it would cut to video 📹 one of the guys being sea sick up close ,well the jock was on him!! He didn't check the wind as the boat was moving!! Well he got it on him because one to close to his buddy, I laught my head off so did ever one else.!!!

Great report Andy, and some nice catching! Use to go out of Dana all the time when I got my first boat back in the late 60's and early 70's. Did you go south out of the harbor toward Cottons Pt.
