I’m typically looking for Bass, Crappie, Catfish, and whatnot. Grew up walking the creek banks and rivers. Now I’ve got a kayak, and have been venturing out. I prefer morning fishing. North Central Texas area is where I am. So anywhere within 100 miles of Ft Worth is within reason for a Sat or Sun morning.

Welcome to the stage sorta, I can't help but there is another member from Weatherford on here, maybe he will respond soon. There several others within 100 miles or less from your town, good luck and tight lines 🎣

Hello Robert: Glad to have you join us. Haven't checked but how far is Possum Kingdom? Exploring on your own is often the best and most satisfying. Just Sayin...RJS

You are just north of Lake Granbury and the Brazos River. Now you have choices.

Was a kid around that area. I loved livin there then.
I've got a sister that still lives in Fate Tx.
I use to visit her for the month of September so I could Dove hunt for the season. Then Covid hit and I haven't been there in a few years.

PK’s about an hour out or so. So I don’t mind going out there. I haven’t in a bit. Something soothing about losing something out of the kayak and it going down about 80’ to the bottom.

Working my way up and down the Brazos. Sometimes there’s water and sometimes there ain’t. But I’ve to 4-5 spots already this year.
