I try to hit most of the posts, but for some reason I nearly always miss something.
If you are like me, it is well worth your while to hit the "Newest Pictures" button at the top when you open or before you close this sight. Several photos have led me back to some great posts I missed. Have a great day and thanks all for the input. I really like this sight. It has become my companion with my morning coffee. It is a much better start of the day than the news.

I agree with your technique...checking the fresh photo postings is a fast way to see what folks have been catching. Once I get caught up that way I start scrolling down the newest topics.

The tricky thing is getting "caught up" when you have been away for a long while...so much happens on a daily basis!

Good reminder baba. I have been doing that for some time.

Some topics might not be worth viewing when scrolling through, but the newest pics are worth the look see.

I doth protest.
It has been several decades since I've substituted the word "wise" for "old."
I can not deny anything close to techish may require some tech support.
This is why it is my privilege to be fortunate to live with my 20 something year old sons.
They're never more than a "Hey, come out here and make it so."
Can't strongly disagree with your "old" reference. Sad but true. Stick around.

Just to clarify, I am not sure what you call old. I am 74 and just getting started. I dreamed the just getting started part.

bapadear,
So it would seem you have and continue to "stick around." You got me by 2-years. Forgot for a minute my impression that this excellent forum seems largely populated with retired folks who have a whole lotta time to fish.
"Old?" To me it seems related to the physicality decline over time. Why can't I do that anymore? Ouch, that never used to hurt. Why can't I see that knot I'm trying to tie? And lastly can you give me a hand standing back up?

Spiritually, I remain (in my mind) somewhere between 12 & 17-years old.
I will not yet be denied my largemouth hunts, using my wisdom to adapt to where I can no longer go and find those new spots.

Re: "just getting started": It's not a dream. I think we have indeed started a new life path to....?
Tight lines always.

agree with what you say I find the eyes on the hooks have gotten smaller and the lines I try to put through those eyes have gotten more invisible and harder to see

I am not proud. I wear 300 reading glasses, a pair hanging on a corky when fishing. I can still thread an 18 midge with them . Unfortunately there are not cheaters for the pain and low energy in the rest of my body.
