Wanting to take my grandson fishing in Spokane Washington but no don't know the best places to take him
Lots of water around the area. What are you fishing for? Boat or shore? Willing to pay for dock fishing access? Bass, Perch, Crappie, Bluegill, and other panfish and trout can be found in Liberty Lake. Panfish in Newman Lake. Trout in Williams, Badger or Rock lake. Up North, Waitts Lake or Jump Off Joe. Lake Roosevelt has good shore access for Trout, Smallmouth, and Walleye (among other species). Check out WDFW site for places to fish and you'll find many choices. They also put out a "Weekender report" that is helpful. Good luck!
Bear Lake north of Spokane on U.S, Hwy 2. Juvenile and seniors only.
This time of year Jump off Joe could be good for sunfish, bass and trout (trout if water not too warm). North of Spokane around Colville you have the Little Pend Oreille chain of lakes and Little Twin Lake (one of my favorites because it is stocked with cutthroat trout. Good luck.

There's bank access along Long Lake down past Tum Tum off the road.
