I tried these 2 for the 1st time today. Got to centennial at dawn but wasn't yet open so I went to Wilde. Way too weedy with aquatic veg, and too much shoreline trees. Kept getting snagged. Drove over to Elkhorn but the same thing. Decided to go back to centennial and it was clean of underwater weeds but I didn't stay long since it was getting late. I didn't get any bites at all 3 lakes. They would be great with a boat but shoreline is iffy. Someone told me a big trout was caught at Elkhorn so maybe I'll go down with this Powerbait I picked up. Either that or needwood. Any other suggestions for somewhere to sit on chairs and throw out some Powerbait or grubs?
Had a nice day anyways. It was good walking around.

Thanks for the info dream. Only other places I can think of are Scotts Cove off of route 29 I believe that is part of Rocky Gorge and a permit is required. The other would be Piney Run in Eldersburg.
Last week I checked out the river running through Sykesville and it would be worth a try early morning. A lot of swimmers and picnic folks were there mid afternoon when i drove along the road.
