Is there any maps out there showing parking spots around rathbun lake for shore fishing. I've tried the internet with minimal success. The only map I've found is the dnr map showing boat ramps where there would be parking but surely a lake this size has more than just the ramps. I'm trying to pre plan my trip to rathbun since I'm a couple hours away that way I can spend more time fishing and not looking for spots. Thanks in advance for any help given.

I do not know of any maps that shows just access areas around the lake at rathben but there is a map that you can buy at some of the bait shops that does show you where there boat ramps accessable to the lake some you have to pay and some you do not have to pay at and any of the campgrounds that is on the lake you can fish at those areas and there's a few road that are dead ends now that ends in the lake that you can fish at and on the south fork of the lake at the old marina there and campground that is closed down now you can fish in that area I beleave or I have before and to the east of there a few miles is another campground that is closed now to that is accessable for fishing to. Ethier way some of those places can be quiet a walk to get to the water. Most of the areas that you can access the lake you can find signs up around the lake showing there is an access to the lake in those areas and there is a few gravel roads that will get you to the lake as well and they are not marked on a map or with any signs.
I have fished lake rathben most of my life and I move closer to the lake about 10 years ago and I am still looking for new places to go to fish on the lake
