Might be another white perch record from Pasadena MD. 16-1/2" not sure about the weight guy brought it in to fishbones Tuesday now that's big perch๐

I believe IGFA rulers dictate fish must be returned to water unharmed

BobfromFremont, couldn't find anything stating a fish must be released after all the measurements and photos are take. Only found guidance on how to properly release the fish back into the water. Besides, since northern snakehead are an invasive species, Maryland DNR recommends killing them after catching. And if you've ever tasted it, you'd be wanting to get it on a hot saute pan asap!๐ฃ๐๐ฝ๐

Apparently there are only a couple of line classes that must be released alive, and only if itโs not contrary to law (as in this case). Thank You for the information
