So the Nor Cal weather continues to be unprecedented this year. Highs in the mid 80's last week! Unheard of in July! It has really affected the fishing and I haven't gone much this Summer. The CA Delta fell off the top 10 list. Clear Lake came in at #3 but only because that's how good the lake is even on a bad year and it has been a bad year for us run of the mill anglers.
Sunday was a family day at Collins Lake. Fishing a low priority but I got an hour in both am and pm. I wanted to catch my last memorable with my real left knee ( I go under the knife in 3 hours for a total knee replacement). I forgot how fun this lake is when full. Tons of flooded timber and the frog was pulling them to the surface in the shade. After a really decent one pulled off because I didn't get the hooks all the way through, I switched to a worm. This is my memorial bass to my left knee! Lol

I hope your surgery works well for you. I’m seeing my orthopedic surgeon today about replacing my left shoulder I tore in January about what all to expect about the limitations I’ll have and recovery time. Haven’t fished this year because of the shoulder being useless hooking up the boat trailer and anything outward or upward, tore both rotator cuffs twice and can’t be fixed anymore. Had the right repaired in 97 and the left repaired in 2003 and tore it again less than 1 year later, not a complete tear until this past January.

I’m glad you are getting it done. No retreat no surrender on physical therapy etc now. You have a bunch of us here that want you all healed up and ready to hook em. Glad you got into some on Sunday.

Best of luck on the knee, I've had friends that had remarkable success, one guy that was on our pool league was practicing with us a few days after surgery.

I’ll be praying for you as well, Steve.
I’ve had three done, and besides prayer, I believe the most important thing to do is PT as directed. Don’t slack or cut corners; all the therapy time is well worth it. 👍🙏🏻
