So my family likes to bank fish but haven't found a whole lot of family friendly spots that aren't covered with either swimmers or boaters. Just curious if anyone has any suggestions.

Kelly, the night fishing mentioned might be the best way to go, if y'all can manage it. On weekends when no work or school interferes you could camp out ? Or just get up reeeaaal earlier and stake out a spot?

Kelly, I'd say come out to Harold or Holt and try it. You will have to walk a little ways but there is a lot less people.

The walk is not a problem. I am just an as familiar with the rivers in that area as well to know what roads get you close.

The road across from the store in Harold will carry you to the river. In Holt, the road behind the store will carry you to the river. Ask anyone in or around the stores and they will point you in the right direction.
