Where are the best spots to fish Sabine Lake on the water on the Louisiana side

Lived in Houston 20+ years, found Sabine to be best for reds and trout. I usually bought both state's license so could fish both. If you hire a guide, you don't need a license, of didn't back then. Thats the best way to find hot spots. Just Sayin...RJS

Thanks, I'm retired so Texas license is only requirement for seniors. Love fishing Sabine Lake, I have a few spots but always looking for more.
