As a boat and motor dealership in the 1960s, we called it 'weekend weather'! You could certainly wager on this happening in the spring. Just as sure as it was Sunday afternoon, the weather would clear, the wind lay, and this theme was repeated almost every week. From then until the next Friday, this would be repeated!
