Designed a small bait for smallmouth. Field tested on wed and caught some. So I decided to try them at a lake for largemouth today. Looks like they liked it too. All fish released to fight again. Tight lines to all

Nice Job JB. It looks like a Ned rigged tube of some type.

Half right. Think of a Ned with tentacles throughout body… and a tail. Gotta believe they think it’s some sort of a big insect… fishing it weightless with an offset worm hook. Every hit comes on the sink… and I mean there’s no nibble nibble on this bait… Smack !!! Game on 😁

Sounds cool JB, can't wait to see a picture of a complete one. The reason I thought Ned, was I though I saw a Ned type weed guard near the head.
