Andy, years ago my local bait shop would sell 5 gallon green buckets. The tackle shop owner got them from a pickle company and they all smelled like dill pickles.

These green buckets come from construction Jobs and brick laying. We don't want them sissy stinking pickle buckets. LOL! I have connections with the green bucket man. You need one. LOL!

Does the color really make a difference? I use a yellow bucket that the kitty litter comes in. It works fine.
I have purchased 5 gallon buckets from a snow ball stand in the past. They get their marshmallow topping in these buckets and the stand where I used to go would sell them for $1.00 each. I need a couple of buckets, so I’ll have to check and see if they still sell them.

The thing is Leo, that Andys green bucket always seems to have caught fish inside of it.🎣😁

If you have any construction going on in the area, check out empty spackle buckets being tossed out. Left over spackle cleans up fairly easy with just water.
I get birdseed for my feeders in mine. Must have a dozen hanging round
Green, white, orange, who cares a five gallon bucket is a fishing necessity when bank fishing
As long as you have a bucket, that is what matters.
I used to have a neighbor who occasionally gave me empty buckets from his business. They were white, if that matters. they'd originally held buttercream frosting. They smelled great, but I was astonished at how hard they were to clean out. Now I'm a bit skeptical of eating a cupcake with buttercream frosting!

Andy's pink bucket (his wife's bucket?) appears to also be a flounder magnet, so I think you're onto something Wulffy.👍

I might give up taking pictures with fish in the green bucket. Getting old.
