It’s a humid but calm morning.
Plenty of crabs on the line with the usual throw backs.
It’s time to drop a line.
Back in the 60’s, my neighbor and I would crab on the Patapsco River, next to where the Key Bridge now stands. We would run a 300 foot trot line and we would catch a bushel of keepers in a few hours. It was great fun for a couple of kids around 10-12 years old. I often think about how much fun it was to grow up around the Chesapeake Bay.

What's that great old song that says, I'm Chesapeake born and Chesapeake breed and when I'm gone I'll be Chesapeake dead?
