Does anyone on here fish at the Cedar Key Florida fishing pier. I need all the hints and advise I can get. All is welcomed by me, thanks.

Take a walk out there and talk to the locals.
Slow from summer heat loaded with juvenile fish, will pick up with mullet runs in the fall!

I will always do that, It is a hour and a half drive one way for me. It's been many years since I've been there. My great uncle had a motel and some boats that he guided on. I am planning to go down for a day trip and want to learn what I can ahead of time. Thank you, for your advice I will use it when I get there.
I miss that pier! Real people over on that pier! Everyone talks, waves and smiles at each other. You NEVER know what is at the end of your line! Don’t wear any ball cap that has any type of law advertise logos! Trust me. Just a true statement.

I believe that most of our coastal fishing villages can be like that. They used to be real clannish, from what I remember from when I was a kid. I loved that place. I have many fond memories of that place.
