Spent 3 days fishing crappie at Bald Eagle during the M&G. Myself, Whitey and Billycrap2 started out with bobbers and casting but settled into a trolling system after seeing Doug’s success. We used various small crank baits, live minnows and a blade bait having varied success on all the baits. The purple with white belly and perch patterned jointed rapalla flicker Shad’s out fished all others.
As I’ve said in other posts the Meet and Greet was a great time. Hope many more new faces will join us next time. We had plenty of food!!!
Anyone who was there if you have time make a post of one of your favorite trips. I’m interested to hear your recounts.

This picture and those smiles really show the time we had. It was a blast!! You won’t meet better people than Whitey and Billy!! Looks like Whiteys wearing a crappie hat.😂🤣😂

Like fishing in your living room plus Billy had all the newest electronics. We see the schools about 30-60 sec before the lines would go tight. Tons of double and triple hook ups

I fished with Slim Ty Doug n Jimmy.
Doug n I trolling got into the crappie
The rest was bass with Slim n Ty.
Biggest 2lb 9oz. Ty had a 3.1 lb.
Crappie all taken on swim jig n paddle tail. Bass hit summer gill yum dinger.
Lost a few nice ones 👍.
Got to meet five new members.

Thank you for the invitation J...that would be a good idea! I did a trip check on the overall route and I think it was around a 10 hour drive each way to Bald Eagle. I will keep it in mind!

Took me 3:45 from here. Makes sense because I think it’s about 6:00 to u from here. I’m planning a trip up your way this fall or next summer. Traver City aren’t u close to there?
