Went up to soda creek area on the upper Sac today, just south of Dunsmuir. Great fishing! The water has come down some, and they just stocked the area. Once I found the sweet spot it was a strike every cast. Caught about a dozen, kept two for supper.

Ahh nice, nothing like fresh caught trout. Thx for the report on the upper sac, I’ll be up there in two weeks n can’t wait. One of my favorite places to camp n fish. Was wondering if the upper sac came down enough to fish, great news!!

I noticed here somewhere near Twin Falls Idaho there is a restaurant with Trout ponds near it. You catch fish and they prepare and serve you your fish. It would be a great thing to get someone or kids interested in fishing for sure.
