Finally got out on Canyon Ferry after days and days of moving and unpacking boxes.
Seems whenever I could keep the boat in the right depth and the right speed I would hook into one. Water temp was optimal in low 60s. Weather was perfect high 60 to 70. Had several bites without a hookup and lost one right at the boat. Ended up with a few fish for the pan. Even my daughter who doesn’t care much for fish, had a fish sandwich. It was a fun first day on the big lake.
