Hey Wally the human factor kicked in. I bet you will be getting some other stories as well. Mine was I was a mile away from the house in my kayak sitting over 20' somewhat choppy water. Then I realized I left my life vest at home. Not good, a little late start on fishing that day. LOL got to laugh at ourselves sometimes.

Probably better to have a good laugh than be crying over all your good equipment being stolen.

spectacles, testicles, tackle and keys - your new mantra, but then you'll probably forget your wallet. I know I would.

So, what is wrong with leaving your gear in the pick up. Then you will have it when you need it. Why take it out? You should also have a copy of your fishing lisc. & a copy of your driver's lisc. in your glove box. A copy works.

The very reason all 3 of my vehicles have gear stashed.....now I just have to remember my license and my glasses & ...the cooler....the worst thing to forget, by far. A cold one eases the pain of whatever you may have forgotten !
