Saying goodbye to my dad

Haven’t fished much this spring and enjoy seeing everyone post their catches. My dad was in his last stages of life at 84 and I made it my goal to be w him as much as I could until the end. My dad lived as a man of faith right until his final breath. He fought hard the last couple years, but when he saw it was time he gave up and was at peace and ready to go home. He was my hero and even at 57 the man I try to emulate. Prayers I get through today and honor him today and w my life.

Sorry for your loss JD. The fishing can always be put on hold for family matters like this.

JD Fishes: Son, you will have the feeling that your Dad did not live long enough! At least that is how I felt. My father did not have much of an education, but he did carry a load of wisdom and taught me a lot, including story telling. Just Sayin...RJS

So sorry for your loss JD.
It doesn't matter when we lose out Dad, or Mom, it ALWAYS seems too soon.
The only exception I can say is when we know they are true believers in Christ and they are suffering with a terrible disease. THEN, we just pray that the Lord calls them home to let them be at peace and pain free with our Savior.
My prayers for you and the family during this time. So glad he is a believer, we shall all see each other again.😔🙏
