R.F.P 6/16/23: Another day out fishing at R.F.P. Got to the park at 7:00am it was 58 degrees and overcast. As I was getting my boots on and getting my gear out of my trunk I look over...

Another day out fishing at R.F.P. Got to the park at 7:00am it was 58 degrees and overcast. As I was getting my boots on and getting my gear out of my trunk I look over and there’s the two float tube guys walking down the trail ahead of me. I new they were going to walk out to the back to launch, and sure enough when I got to my spot they were launching right where I’ve been fishing. I’m not sure if that’s why I dint get a bite till at least a hour after they went through the drop off I’ve been fishing. The bite has slowed the last two days but I did managed to catch 2 Bass! One really nice one! I’m off Monday so I’ll probably be fishing the next three days! Will see if I have enough energy to fish six days in row. Probably going to Sonoma tomorrow with Ryan! Had a blast today at R.F.P!! Good luck and be safe!!

Thanks Fred! They were invaders in Waders! I still can’t figure out why they walk to back to launch? Oh well to each their own. Have a great weekend buddy!

He calls them intruders. But I’d call those dudes ignorant. I bet if they knew they were screwing up Matt they’d enter somewhere else. Or at least I hope the would.

There you go Jason, intruders, my memory sucks. Invaders in waders sounds pretty good though.

I always thought that the reason for using a float tube was so you can move around the lake, not launch in a hot spot and scare all the fish.

Thanks Chuckay! That’s fish was my first bite of the morning, I actually was smoking that smoke and through it down and stepped it out after I set the hook and felt the tug, that but is now in my trunk with the rest of them from this morning! Just to be clear I take out everything I bring in! Good luck and be safe buddy!

That's the way we all should do, but I didn't mean anything about that just figured it was just laying there. If everyone would be like you it would be a cleaner place, I have a piece of property with a great fishing creek that runs through it and I'll let people go down and camp and fish, but I tell them to take out all they take in only had a few that will never get to go back. This is all God's world we just have the opportunity to use it so we should take good care of it. Keep the pictures coming that's a beautiful place.
